While field walking this last day or two one of the interesting finds has been this fossil.
I find it difficult to think about a period in hour history of this Earth that goes back so far, this fossil was a living being some 75-142 million years ago, and we tend to think that the medieval period was a long time ago, 800-1000 years ago, no time at all, does make one think.
Age: Cretaceous 65-142 millions years ago.
Age Sub Category: Lower Planus Zone to mid-Coranginium Zone.
